Welcome to American Heritage Girls Troop KS1111

American Heritage Girls is a family-friendly, faith-based multi-level Christian organization dedicated to developing the character and leadership skills of biological girls ages 5 to 18. We offer a broad range of age-appropriate activities, including community service, outdoor activities, and life skills, to prepare young women for their futures.

For value-minded moms and daughters, American Heritage Girls is the confidence-building extra-curricular activity and inspiring adventure that helps girls realize their potential. Girls regularly experience new challenges that teach service, team-building and leadership skills in a safe and fun environment. We are dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. We encourage family involvement and embrace Christian values throughout the program.

Troop KS1111 is proud to be a part of this national organization bringing a quality character development program to the young girls of our parish and community.

We chose "1111" as our troop number because we were chartered in Nov. 2011.

It is our mission as leaders in American Heritage Girls to help the girls grow in their faith, discovering their God-given gifts and talents and providing opportunities to use them in service to their community and one another.

American Heritage Girls uses a progressive badge program to help the girls acquire valuable life skills that will assist them in all areas in life. The badge program also allows girls to learn from older girls and teach the younger girls.

AHG has six badge categories known as frontiers, which are: Our Heritage, Personal Well-Being, Family Living, The Arts, Science & Technology and Outdoor Skills. Girls earn badges in each of these frontiers in order to achieve their rank awards. You can view the entire badge list here.

You can learn more about American Heritage Girls at the national website: www.americanheritagegirls.org.
